Default Return Cost?!

Just noticed there's a new column that appeared on our inventory forms called Default Return Cost.

Is this something that was added recently?  I checked the audit logs for settings, and no options were changed recently.

If this is a new feature inserted between 'releases' it would be nice to know these changes before I start fielding calls from confused staff asking what it's for.
