thousands of serial numbers, suitetalk and PO -> item receipts?

edited Nov 26, 2019 8:39AM in Accounting / ERP

We are trying to integrate a third party warehouse management system via suitetalk and having lots of fun </sarcasm> dealing with serial numbers and item receipts.:h_a_w:

Our planned workflow with the WMS is to grab a list of POs from netsuite, receive the stock qty's in the WMS and push the item receipts back to netsuite.

However, we have serialised items that we may get up to 10,000 of in a container in a single order.  unfortunately netsuites handling of large numbers of serials seems weak, here are the problems we're having:
[LIST=1]
[*]In an item receipt (and fulfilments and invoices) it appears that you cannot have more than a couple of thousand characters in the serial number field in the web interface.

Howdy, Stranger!
