Serializing Incoming Parts

Hey NS'ers,

We'd like to serialize a lot of our sub-components for warranty and tracking purposes. However, its time consuming to scan parts during incoming inspection. We would rather it be "non-serialized' first until we build an entire unit.

At that point the non-serialized part becomes serialized. Has anyone figured out a "best practice" for this?
