Using bins at one location only

Hi

Does anyone have experience or best practice for implementing NetSuite binning at a single location only when multiple locations are enabled?  The new  advanced binning feature is preferred so that bin pre-assignments are not required.

When I tried this today I found that on transactions all locations require bins to be entered.  This business has about 20 locations but only wants to operate bins at one location.

A "dummy" bin could be set up at each of the 19 non-binned locations, but the overhead required to enter all the extra bin info on item records and transactions is unnaceptable.

Has anyone any advice?
