Residual Inventory Item

I am sure that my problem is not unique, but I haven't been able to get a clear answer from the NetSuite Technical Desk other that to do a monthly manual inventory adjustment.

I buy in kilograms and sell in pounds.  In doing so, I always have a Lot Numbered Inventory residual quantity for my items.  Because of the number of items sold in a month, I spend an unbelievable amount of time doing inventory adjustments that total just a few dollars.

[1] Is there a way of setting up NetSuite to zero out any Lot Numbered Assembly smaller than X,XX1 for example.
