Sub-Assemble components to not be used in production
Is it possible to build components as a sub-assembly of an Assembly Build, and then not have those components be "used up" in production?
Our company produces a good number of food products, a lot of which include various types of cheese. When we produce items that contain cheese in them, we end up with a good amount that doesn't actually end up in the finish product; part of it ends up as "scrap" that cannot be used anymore and has to be thrown out, but a lot more ends up as "trim", which can be sold back to the vendor at a discount instead.
