Migrating Inventory Records-Standard Cost

We're preparing for system launch and are creating data migrations maps to import data from our legacy system.  It appears that when standard costing in the inventory valuation method used, quantity on hand (QOH) amounts cannot be imported/migrated.  Has any other user encountered this issue, and were you able to develop a fix other than manual input?
