Using inventory without turing on the inventory feature

Hello,

I'm currently testing using inventory items in sandbox (by converting non-inventory to inventory). I'm using inventory items but without turning on the inventory feature. I don't want to turn it on because it breaks the many-to-one relationship of locations to subsidiaries in OneWorld, which for my customer would be a problem.

Everything is working as expected. Quantity on Hand increases with item receipts and decreases through the sales process. Inventory and GL accounts are getting impacted as expected.

Does anyone see any issue with using inventory without the feature turned on? I know that I will lose some functionality around inventory adjustments, transfers, etc.
