Auto Calculation Preferred Stock Level, Reorder Point, Safety Stock
I have read (and hopefully understood, but that's why I'm here...) all the support documentation on this and several forum threads and am stuck for an answer. Hopefully this hasn't already been discussed, but any help is appreciated.
I cannot make heads or tails of the auto calculation logic. I've made a calculator in Excel using the same assumptions as documented by NS, but we always come up with different figures.
Assumptions
Item X, has sales history > 6 months and consistently
Preferred Stock Level: Autocalc checked, set for 90 days
Reorder Point: Autocalc checked
Lead Time: Autocalc checked
Safety Stock Level Days: 14
