Stock Unit vs. Sales Units and Back Order Numbers
I have an assembly item in NetSuite that is stocked in each and sold in lots of 500.
So on a sales order the sales rep would add one unit (which contains 500 widgets), and when I look at the assembly item record record I see 500 as the quantity on an order which is what I expect.
However when transforming an estimate to a sales order that contains the same assembly item and there's a back order the system warns about the back order which is fine but the quantity is completely wrong. If I had a back order of one sales unit (500 widgets) the system reports a backorder of 250,000.
