Supply Plan Order calculation issues
Testing demand planning in NS Sandbox. Finding several challenges in trying to validate the data.
Entered in the manual demand, generated the supply plan, and downloaded for validation.
- Found severl items where the order quantity was not factoring in safety stock levels.
- An item had a SS below it in June but the next planned supply order was not schedule to release until August.
- Order quantity calculates workorders that are in the planned status but when you look at the supply plan report there is no quantity in the committed column I had to go to the GRI (Gross Requirments Plan) to see the planned work order.
