quantity order with actual weight*per pound price calculation
I am hoping that others have potential solutions to this issue. The client buys/sells thread. There are some threads purchased by the cone but the pricing varies based on the weight of the cones ordered. I was going to set up a unit of measure specific to each type of thread (each one is a different weight). If I do this, the conversion is merely an estimate and it would never truly match the actual.

If the purchase order is placed for 2 boxes at a purchase price of $9.36/lb, the PO goes out with an amount of $188.70. Upon receipt, the order shows 2 boxes but they are charged $193.75 as the box of thread weighed more than the estimated weight. The customer is going to purchase in cones but will be charge by the actual weight of the cones at the price per pound. I am interested in showing both the quantity of the cones as well as the actual weight of the cones that will calculate the price of the thread on
