Allocating stock per Department

Using NetSuite with Advanced Bins and RF Smart - has anyone found any workable solutions to allow stock in a single NetSuite location to be reserved/allocated for a specific department?
To give a real world example;
100 Items are booked into stock
Wholesale can sell 50
Online can sell 50
