Quarantine items for inspection.

I would like to Quarantine select purchase orders when they are received to go through a quality control process.  I don’t want the inventory to immediately become available to sell.  Is there a way to Quarantine them?  Was thinking about adding a location just for Quarantine, but I don’t want to effect the “on hand / on order”  and cause a accidental re-order.


Is there some best practices for Netsuite and inbound QC?
