Average Cost reset per location for all inventory and assembly items

Hi,
Our accounting team basically wants to remove the freight & duty from the average cost of the item and puts it in a separate account in NetSuite. After doing this, they want to zero out the freight and duty account & track the frieght and duty outside of NetSuite. They said that they will create excel file and put it on shared drive - it helps them to save time currently put by one of the accountants to calculate freight & duty separately for each PO they bill for different vendors.
