Negative Inventory Item

I have a non-serialized inventory item that continues to go negative. The reason being is we produce this product on 1/2, 1/3, 1/4 but not billed for in until 1/7/18. I'm currently doing an inventory adjustment to move item from 1/7 to 1/1, but its become a huge pain.

Any suggestions how to prevent inventory from going negative?
