System error 998 (NetSuiteODBCDriver)

edited Dec 3, 2019 3:47PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Hi All,

I saw the earlier thread for this and the generally accepted resolution. However, I'm still getting the "Error Connecting to Database: Error IM003 Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 998 (NetsuiteODBCDriver)" error even after restarting, uninstalling and reinstalling the OpenSSL and NetSuite ODBC driver in a "Safe mode with Networking Support". I did this logging in with my user account (has admin priviledges) and again as the Administrator

I'm getting this on a system with Windows XP SP2, Crystal Reports XI R2, Win32 OpenSSL v0.9.8g Light, NetSuiteODBC driver (just downloaded from website) & Microsoft Office 2007 installed. I get the error when I try to connect through either Excel or CR.

Howdy, Stranger!
