Associating a Campaign to a Project

Is it possible to associate a campaign to a project?  My company uses Customers to delineate our regions, and projects to track the finances (expenses etc) for a particular marketing effort.  We use the Campaign (lead source) to track the metrics of a particular effort (leads, opportunities, booked revenue) and would like to associate the financial information in the project to the metrics of the lead source.

From what I can see is that expenses can only be manually entered.  Any insight?
