Action Required:Basic Payroll:Indiana reduced the taxable wage base from 9500 to 7000
Indiana reduced the taxable wage base from $9500 to $7000. These changes take effect beginning with the first quarter unemployment tax (January 1 – March 31, 2010). Netsuite had been updated to comply with the state requirements.
Action Required:
Adjust the Taxed Wage Base and Indiana Unemployment Tax for employees who have exceeded $7000.
To search for employees who have exceeded $7,000:
1. Go to Reports > Payroll > State Withholding
2. View the Detail Report by clicking the amount under “Amount Withheld” column next to Indiana Unemployment
3. Under the Wage Base column, search for employees who have exceeded $7000.00
To Create Payroll Adjustment:
1. Navigate to Transactions > Employees > Create Payroll Adjustment >
