Attention Basic Payroll Users:Florida reduced the taxable wage base from 8500 to 7000
Florida reduced the taxable wage base from $8500 to $7000. These changes take effect beginning with the first quarter unemployment tax (January 1 – March 31, 2010). Netsuite had been updated to comply with the state requirements.
Action Required:
Adjust the Taxed Wage Base and Florida Unemployment Tax for employees who have exceeded $7,000.
To search for employees who have reached the old limit:
1. Go to Reports > Payroll > State Withholding
2. View the Detail Report by clicking the amount under “Amount Withheld” column next to Florida Unemployment
3. Under the Wage Base column, search for employees who have exceeded $7000.00
To Create Payroll Adjustment:
1. Navigate to Transactions > Employees > Create Payroll Adjustment >
