Changes to FAM Reports in NetSuite Fixed Assets Management 4.02

The upcoming update of the NetSuite Fixed Assets Management SuiteApp to version 4.02 will change the format of current FAM reports from HTML to Advanced PDF. The new format lets users download, print, and email the PDF reports. The update will also enable users to export the reports into an XML file. This feature change is currently targeted for release on August 2015. Action required before the upgrade Users must enable the Advanced PDF/HTML Templates feature in the account to be able to generate Fixed Assets Reports. To enable the feature:  1.    Go to Setup > Company > Enable Features. 2.    Click the SuiteCloud tab and then check the Advanced PDF/HTML Templates box under the SuiteBuilder section. 3.    Click Save.  The Period Movement saved search will be removed, since it provides the same information as the Asset Register saved searches. It is possible to test this new format in a Preview bundle, which will be available on August 2015 in Sandbox accounts.
