Changes to the use of Parent Matrix Items in 2017.1
This message is targeted to accounts using parent matrix items in your assemblies.  In NetSuite Version 2017.1, we introduced a fix which now prevents adding a parent matrix item to the list of components used in a build assembly.  This is in response to several issues which created inconsistencies in inventory and transaction records.  If you are currently using parent matrix items on assembly builds, possibly for purposes of record tracking, please review their usage as soon as possible and substitute a different item type for this purpose.  On some accounts, parent item matrixes were used by NetSuite Professional
