Upcoming Changes Affecting the Inventory Detail Search Results
NetSuite 2018.1 is targeted to include two updates to the Inventory Detail search results page. A new Item Count column will be added and the Quantity column will be updated. The Inventory Detail search is available at Reports > New Search > Inventory Detail.

Some accounts may be impacted by this change.

What is Changing?

Previously, the Quantity column on the Inventory Detail search results page showed positive or negative values, depending on whether the associated transaction added to your stocked inventory or deducted from your inventory, respectively. As of NetSuite 2018.1, the Quantity column will show absolute values, regardless of the positive or negative impact to your inventory.
