2018.1 Accounts > Set Up and Test a Two-Factor Authentication Required Role Now
| Set Up and Test a Two-Factor Authentication Required Role Now |
| This message is intended for customers currently on 2018.1. You are receiving this notice because we strongly suggest that you create and test Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) in your account. You can test in your 2018.1 production account, and ideally, if available, 2018.2 Release Preview account. If you have access to a sandbox running 2018.1, you could also test 2FA setup in that account. What is Changing? 2FA has been available in NetSuite accounts since 2017.1. 2018.2 makes 2FA mandatory for highly privileged roles. (For more information about these roles, see Permissions Requiring Two-Factor Authentication (2FA), SuiteAnswers ID 70234.) 2018.2 also has new pages for user setup of 2FA preferences. In certain circumstances, users did not receive the email with the verification code necessary to complete the 2FA set up. |
