The Issue Token Endpoint and Mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
| The Issue Token Endpoint and Mandatory Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) |
| This notification is for customers with integrations in their account that are calling the issue token endpoint and using user credentials to authenticate with highly privileged roles. Please work with your NetSuite administrator or your internal development team to resolve this situation. You should always use a role with the lowest privileges needed to complete a task. You should not use a role, such as the Administrator role or any other highly privileged role, unless there is no alternative. In 2018.2, integrations are subject to the mandatory 2FA requirement when they: [LIST] [*]use a highly privileged role, and [*]use user credentials as the authentication method. |
