New File Upload Restrictions for the File Cabinet

New File Upload Restrictions for the File Cabinet

This notification is to inform you of upcoming changes for file uploads to the file cabinet.
What is Changing?Recommended Action
NetSuite 2019.1 introduces a stricter policy for uploading files with .js and .html suffixes to the file cabinet. To upload these types of files, you will require the Allow JS/HTML Uploads permission. This permission requirement applies to uploads that occur through the UI as well as uploads that occur through scripts or web services. Most users will experience no change in behavior. However, users that do not have the Allow JS/HTML uploads permission will receive a permissions violation message when they try to upload these types of files. Administrators can assign this permission either at the role level under the Permissions > Setup subtab, or to individual users from the Access > Global Permissions subtab on the user record.
