3DSecure / Verified by Visa Implemented?

Has anyone successfully implemented 3DSecure (aka Verified by Visa) on their website in concert with PayFlow Pro? 

Or, tried and failed? 

I did find this old thread, which indicates that it works with SECPay: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?p=47798#post47798

We are trying to do so, with no success thus far.  So, I wonder if this really works?  Any tips or tricks?
