An error occurred while processing your credit card.
During bulk billing, we're getting a lot more failed transactions than usual, generally with the unhelpful message "An error occurred while processing your credit card. Please contact the merchant for further assistance." We get an occasional DECLINE that seems legitimate, but these errors seem to be an indication that something is really busted.
Are we alone in seeing an uptick in billing failures? Does anyone know if there's a way to get more detailed information about what went wrong?
