PayPal Express Checkout 3-Days?

PayPal is telling me that a PayPal Express Checkout transaction which is not captured in 3 Days completely expires. This is not how I understood it about 3 months ago.

3 Months ago I thought that PayPal only guaranteed it under Seller Protection for 3 days but that it could be captured to 29 days.

Would anyone have comment on this?
