PayPal Re-Authorization
Our company takes "pre-orders," where a customer can order a product that hasn't been released yet. When the product is released, we then ship the product to the customer and attempt to bill them. Some pre-orders begin as early as 90 days before the release date. The delayed charging hasn't really been an issue for credit cards, but we've been having difficulty billing PayPal customers after the 3 day period ends.
We contacted our PayPal account manager before our website launched and they informed us that we have up to 63 days to re-authorize the transaction after the original one expires. Does anyone know how to re-authorize PayPal transactions with NetSuite? The orders that we try and bill just have their status changed to Pending Billing and nothing happens.
