PCI Compliance
We have been required by our merchant services company to comply with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Our IT department does not want them to have to scan our IP address to verify security because they think we should fall under NetSuite security compliance as we are a client and process cards through NetSuite and PayFlow Pro.
Has anyone else run into this? Is our IT department correct? If so, what do you do to get the merchant services to understand so that you do not get charged the non-compliance fees. I have put a case in for this as well.
