Automatic Recalculation of Project Dates

Task start and end dates can be automatically calculated (and recalculated) from what you've entered into the Project Start Date (under Edit Project) and the info you've inserted in the Edit task forms (such as the number of planned hours, the users assigned, the percentage of these users' time assigned and their schedules, and task dependencies such as predecessors and lag times).

To allow for automatic calculation (and re-calculations) of task start & end dates, leave the start and end date fields in the Edit Task form blank.
Inserting dates in these Edit task date fields over-rides the automatically calculated dates
