help on posting data to an online customer form

Hi all,
I have an online customer form which creates a lead into the crm. I would like to create a lead from my website which posts data into the url thus creating a lead. I have been trying to do this using curl...but I am not making any real progress. Can I do this using php toolkit creating a new lead?
