Search for Specific Item in a custom List
Trying to retrieve the name and abbreviation of an item from a custom list by submitting the internal id (valueId) of the list item.
I Have a script which will return all items from a custom list. (I actually have two versions. One which uses a GetRequest and one which uses a combination of SearchMultiSelectField and CustomListSearchBasic).
The GetRequest method is the simplest, so I will use it for the purpose of this post.
It's easy enough for me to iterate through the array and find the corresponding value and abbreviation from the valueId, but it seems to me that I should be able to simply supply the valueId as an argument or search parameter and only have it return the single result I'm looking for. Can someone please tell me how to do this?
