Retrieving customer attributes and primary contact

edited May 28, 2020 7:31PM in SuiteCloud / Customization 11 comments

I need to use webservices to obtain some information from the customer record. I have been able to complete this for all attributes except primary / alternate contact and CustomerAddressBook Country and State.

For the primary / alternate contact, I have seen the documentation which indicates this is available from the contName and primaryAlternate fields - but I cannot see what table these fields belong to. Are they part of some other list, and if so, what name is used? Any sample code would be helpful.

Also, I am able to return what appears to be the enumeration for the Country field in CustomerAddressBook, but what is the usual technique to get the string representation of the country. For example, given the value of 12 (which corresponds to _australia), how do you return Australia?

Howdy, Stranger!
