Operation timeouts while login

Hi Terry,
Thank you for the help. We will try the suggestion for using searches and keep you updated. But We are facing the same problem in login too. Some times it is getting stuck at this point and giving error message as operation time out,and some times login process is taking more than 5 mins.
While calling login webservice - The app is getting stuck at the following line.

status = cnw.login( passport ).status
