TranDate not getting set

Hello,

I am having a problem that just started recently. When I submit an salesorder to NetSuite the trandate is not being picked up in NetSuite. I am using Visual Basic 2005, and when I step through my code it shows the value of trandate as "10/08/2007" just a few lines before the order gets transmitted to NetSuite, but when I view the order in NetSuite it shows the current date. Could I be using the wrong date format? I don't see anything in the documentation about a proper format.

If someone could help me understand if and what I am doing wrong, I would be very grateful.
