Tax Calculation with Tax Groups
Hi,
This might be a repost, but I can't seem to find my post from yesterday - must not have submitted successfully. If so, I apologize.
I am using the 2.6 WS API and we are in need of calculating the sales tax on a county by county or tax-region by tax-region basis because it is New York state. We have imported the tax tables and as long as the customer has been set as taxable and the correct Tax Group selected, everything works correctly, the tax amount is generated.
My question: Is there any way to get Netsuite to autopopulate that Tax Group field for a customer based on the customer's Zip Code? If not, is there some way to get those tax tables and interrogate them for the correct tax group?
