Retrieving user's company name
I'm a complete newbie when it comes to NetSuite, but I've been working with JavaScript for over 10 years now, but NetSuite has me stumped.
I'm trying to place a button on an existing form that when pressed displays an alert window containing the name of the logged in user's company name. Kind of my version of a "hello world" script test. But I can't seem to find any combination of syntax to get me there.
I have the button in place and my function is correctly invoked when the button is pressed, all I'm missing is the right syntax to retrieve the user's company name.
