A bug or just doing it wrong???
I am creating PurchaseOrderExpense items for a po. I need to populate and persist the Location, Department and Class fields which are RecordRefs.
For each recordRef I need to provide the appropriate internalId for the value being entered (perhaps a wrong assumption). On startup I cache these values in a hashmap for easy lookup. It was difficult to populate these hashmaps because there are no type enums for these fields. I was able to get the field names by looking at the old sample java application's GetSelectValueType class:
account__class
account_department
account_location
But these values are no where to be found in the 2008_2 WSDL. So either I am going about this the wrong way, or there is a bug in the WSDL.
