How to search by transaction status?

I'm trying to search for purchase order transactions with any of the following status values:

* Pending Billing
* Pending Billing/Partially Received
* Partially Received

I tried filling these strings in to the SearchEnumMultiSelectField, but the search result object is showing warnings that these values aren't valid.  I've tried variations like _pendingBilling and _purchaseOrderPendingBilling, but nothing seems to be working.
