Activity Saved Search

How would I go about running an Activity saved search?

I am looking for something along the lines of:

ActivitySearchAdvanced actSearch = new ActivitySearchAdvanced ();
actSearch.savedSearchId = mySavedSearchId;
SearchResult result = _service.search(actSearch);
