how to save Demand history data as saved search

Hi All,

I am trying to retrieve demand history data for a set of items and locations. It is by default provided as part of report with name "Custom Demand History by Item". I could customize this report to include Location, Start Date, End Date also.
Now, I would like to access this report from Web services (java). Is there a way to extract report via web services? I even tried to create a saved search withe same fileds, but I am not getting the records that are expected as part of demand history.
Please help me out.
