Multiple Print Views for PO

edited Jun 5, 2020 3:37PM in SuiteCloud / Customization

Greetings,

I have a client requesting two print views on a PO.  They want one button to print the PO with prices, and another button to print the PO without the prices.  The standard functionality supports only a single view (either HTML or PDF format).

Looking through the SuiteScript API, I was hoping I could find a function to choose the template to use and output that to PDF.  It looks like I would need to enable the Advanced Printing (beta) feature to do this and use the HTML format (to avoid the 3rd party).  My question is, would this require me to create two Advanced Templates (one with prices, one without) and associate one to the PO form?  Or could I use the legacy PDF print view (with prices), and then add a button via the code below to print the PO without prices

Howdy, Stranger!
