Trying to write a suitelet but I am unable to create a script record.

So I want to make a REST call to a suitelet and I wrote the suitelet, uploaded it via the netsuite IDE eclipse plugin to my file cabinet.
The next step is to create a script record by going to setup -> customize -> scripts ->new
Except that I don't see a customize option in the setup menu.
What am I doing wrong?
