Including "Commission" transactions in a SuiteTalk basic or advanced search

When creating a saved search in the UI for transactions in the Accounts Payable account it includes "Commission" transactions, just like in the A/P Detail report.

However it looks like if I try to run that same search via the SOAP api (either calling that saved search by ID, or by defining a new search) I get back everything *except* commissions.

Are commissions not exposed to the API? Is there any other way to get the A/P commissions?
