How to change a cust field list 'back' to blank once it's been set to another value?
I can set the value of a custom list field with the following code.
Dim custField(1) As CustomFieldRef
Dim lstAppEnteredBy_CustFldRef As New SelectCustomFieldRef
Dim lstAppEnteredBy_RecRef As New ListOrRecordRef
lstAppEnteredBy_CustFldRef.internalId = "CUSTENTITY504"
lstAppEnteredBy_RecRef.internalId = dr("AppEnteredBy_ID").ToString
lstAppEnteredBy_RecRef.typeId = "45"
lstAppEnteredBy_CustFldRef.value = lstAppEnteredBy_RecRef
custField(1) = lstAppEnteredBy_CustFldRef
contactUpdate.customFieldList = custField
But what if the first time I set the value it was set in error. How can I use code to change it back to the default 'no item selected' or 'blank' state?
