Using SearchBooleanCustomField C# .Net
I spent forever and a day figuring out how to search by a custom field and status on a sales order. I couldn't find any samples on this forum so I wanted to share hoping to save someone else new to this web service some time. My custom field was a check box but i'm assuming same logic should apply to other field types.
Code Snippet C# .Net:
SearchBooleanCustomField custField = new SearchBooleanCustomField();
custField.internalId=("custbody4");
custField.searchValue = false;
custField.searchValueSpecified = true;
SearchCustomField[] CustFieldArray = new SearchCustomField[1];
CustFieldArray[0] = custField;
xactionBasic.type = soField;
xactionBasic.status = statusField;
xactionBasic.customFieldList = CustFieldArray;
xactionSearch.basic = xactionBasic;
SearchResult SOResults = service.search(xactionSearch);
