Opportunity Status automatic changes
What is your best practice for handling Completed (closed?) opportunities?
We Closed-Win an Opportunity; set up a Sales Order and Project. Editing the opportunity to add the project changes the status automatically to Active. That works. What causes the opportunity to automatically be set to Inactive?
The reason for the question is that our sales team recognizes Closed - Won Opportunities as Closed - Won; and Active Opportunities as having transactions like Sales Orders and projects associated with them. Once the project/sales order is completed what kicks off the opportunity to automatically be set as inactive?
