Saved Search for Transactions in Multiple Posting Periods

We have been trying to generate a report/search to reconcile the Accruals account, but all the solutions in SuiteAnswers use date based filtering.

We have today (finally!) figured out that the reason we can't reconcile these is the Trial Balance is (of course) Period based, and so you can't expect to reconcile with a date based transaction report.

My problem is that I can't find a way to filter a Saved Search on multiple periods - you only seem to have the built in list of NetSuite filters for Periods (which are varied, but not what I need). Closest is 'This Financial Year to Period' - but that includes the current period (so it includes transactions for this financial year up to and including June 19). I am running the Trial Balance as at May 19 (for last month) - but that includes all transactions this year up to the end of May 19. If I do a
